Our Community Liaison will meet with you and your family prior to the start of Hospice Care to discuss and coordinate the Nursing, CNA, RT, Social Work, and Spiritual Counseling services.
Our Hospice Nursing Team is comprised of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who manage patient care. They provide high skill care and assistance to patients and their families and are responsible for creating and adjusting the care plan in accordance with the patient’s needs.
A Olidia Hospice Medical Social Workers help to assist and advocate for patients and their families providing valuable resources including assistance with advance directives, and end-of-life planning.
Hospice Aides are unlicensed professionals who provide on one-to-one patient assistance. They assist with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing assistance, meal, and personal hygiene assistance.
Our Hospice Physician oversees the care team. They ensure the comfort and quality of life for the patient through the end-of-life care process.
Spiritual counselors provide support, comfort and peace for both the patient and the patient family.
Before working with Olidia Medical, aspiring caregivers go through a comprehensive hiring process.
We start with an intensive interview process with clinical managers We check the caregiver’s personal and professional references. They must have a current CPR/Emergency/First Aid Training certificate. JOIN OUR TEAM
They are pre-screened through written and skills competency tests. We verify the status of their License with State Agencies to make sure it is current with no restrictions JOIN OUR TEAM
New caregivers must have a previous DME experience or take a complete training program before being considered for employment with Olidia Medical. JOIN OUR TEAM
During the office orientation, new caregivers are provided with a Starter Training Course that includes Infection Control, Equipment Safet and Environment of Care. JOIN OUR TEAM
